About Sommer Contemporary Art

Since its foundation in 1999, Sommer Contemporary Art has been committed to promoting leading and emerging contemporary artists. The gallery focuses on maintaining a vital and ongoing exchange with the local and international art scene, by fostering a conversation with institutions and publishing houses, creating meaningful gallery and institutional exhibitions and hosting thoughtful talks and screenings. The gallery also invites curators for research trips, residencies and curating exhibitions.

Sommer Contemporary Art is located at a beautiful eclectic style building in the heart of Tel Aviv, and since 2016 flourishing in its additional space - Sommer Salon, Zurich, where the gallery continues to build sustainable relationships beyond borders.
