UN goals
The spectator cannot be passive in front of an exhibition, because he has the possibility of imagining worlds.
About FORO.SPACE
Building on his experience in commercial galleries as well as not-for-profit art spaces, Jaime A. Martinez opened FORO.SPACE in Bogotá in 2019. With a strong will to bring together a space that is socially conscious, the gallery represents artists who bring up topics of politics, the natural environment, and human beings. There is an intent to forge longer-term projects grounded in research, while also leaving a lot of space for viewers to interpret exhibitions themselves thanks to their own histories. Through the use of installations, the gallery often invites its visitors to step into a new world for a moment and to bring about new ways of thought. FORO.SPACE thus always tries to push boundaries of possibilities and realities, with artists such as Andrés Matías Pinilla, Iñaki Chávarri, and Pável Aguilar.
