Biography

In his artistic practice, Iñaki Chavarri is concerned about highlighting the fragility of our species and our knowledge structures in the current context of ecological crisis. The expiration of the speeches, the multidimensional complexity to describe an object and the sense of humor appear in his work on a recurring basis. Through teaching he explores practical and poetic concerns of the creative ecosystem. This is manifested in workshops, drawings and installations that are the result of an affective negotiation with the context.
