About this artwork
A combination of manmade and natural elements, this piece by Katinka Bock mutates through the incorporation of rain water. Hazard and stiffness coexist in the same space revealing that despite its slow pace, time always transforms matter.
With an ever-enigmatic body of work, Katink Bock is fascinated by sites and materials. Texture and our senses are solicited in each of her installations creating a space where her viewership is encouraged to play and imagine new configurations. Objects that were part of everyday life are turned into artworks, through these simple mechanisms, she perpetuates art’s relationship with ready-mades and raw materials.
