About this artwork

Layers of color outline the shapes of mountainous landscapes; the sky is yellow and the sun is setting and as such the painting conveys calmness and tranquility. A thin red line within the canvas outlines the shape of a mouth, a recurrent shape in the duo’s work.

We are the painters’ work revolves around the medium of painting; however, they also experiment with installations, sculpture and found objects. Their ingenious and unassuming artistic practice has led them to collaborate with unlikely beings such as goats, farmers and artists alike.
