About this artwork

Two figures of this oil painting collage are disconnected from each other yet bound together by the materiality of the empty canvas. Only minimal lines and contours are seen, indicating movement and creating the dynamic and mysterious relation between the figures.
Amir Nave started with the drawings and then transitioned to oil painting. But one can feel the strong presence of a line in his paintings. Amir Nave’s artworks show the motion of the artist's hand and are examples of a great sensitivity to color and a balanced and perfectly thought-out composition. His works are full of underlying meaning, and his characteristic figures address the emotions and speak through them.
