About this artwork
Part of the photography series Paraiso, Diego Bianchi made use of simple yet challenging images to discuss pollution in a direct narrative. Plastic bottles of various cleaning agents were staged in an otherwise scenic and peaceful landscape, which illustrates pathetically the harms to nature from plastic pollution.
Though an early work by the artist, the trace of Diego Bianchi’s practice in realism with the use of found materials is already visible in this work, which connects this series to the overall creative philosophy of the artist.
