About this artwork

The artistic gesture is this watercolor is visible and is encompassed by scratches making this an intricate piece. Some human figures can be detected such as a couple of individuals staring at the ground. As the name suggests, there’s a contrast between white and color which in turn creates gleams lightning the composition.

Concerned by what images leave out, this work is deliberately enigmatic as the artist wants his viewership to reflect on the nature of images: while they are records of the past, they are always subjected to interpretation and thus non objective documents.
