UN goals

Buying work is always a good thing, it’s a very special gift that keeps on giving. But it gives more if you are supporting a living artist and if you are in love with the work that you are buying.

About First Floor Gallery Harare

First Floor Gallery Harare was founded in 2009 by Marcus Gora, a cultural entrepreneur, and Valerie Kabov, an art critic and art historian, who continue to be Directors of the gallery. The gallery has been promoting the next generation of contemporary Zimbabwean artists for more than a decade within Africa and at an international scale. Located in Harare, Zimbabwe, the gallery has become a critical actor in the region engaging with their local community through educational programs, henceforth bringing contemporary art to a country still recovering from its political past. The gallery has built strong relations with international collaborators opening new possibilities for its artists and forthcoming Zimbabwean creators.
