About Crisis

In a region constantly shaken by unrest, the word crisis has almost lost its alarming value. A bold name for a gallery, Crisis represents emerging artists from Peru and South America addressing the issues of this vast territory such as the legacy of colonialism, extractivism, gender inequality, violence towards minorities and more. Fostering exhibitions from European and North American artists, the gallery intends to build a space where the relation between the global South and the global North is scrutinized.
