About this artwork

A mystifying star decorates Weber series titled Untitled (irregular). The shape finds an echo with his work The first minutes of October alluding to the communist-constructivist star and thus to the utopia of socialism. Without its prior context, the star is more akin to the universe of comic books, particularly with its onomatopoeias, blending together two dissimilar traditions: pop and conceptualism.
