About this artwork

A bat opens its wings to let us see her cubs taking the form of a tree’s top. Surrounding her head, a yellow halo gives to the scene a sacred and an apocalyptic feel, all the more after the COVID-19 pandemic and the role played by bats to spread the disease. The word Nada–nothing in Spanish–is also part of the composition, adding to the work yet another meaning.
