About this artwork
Renaud Auguste-Dormeuil cut out the three pyramids and filled them with an image of a starry night sky. The dark and mysterious sky is in dialogue with our perception of pyramids and the countless stories around its history. This manipulated image illustrates the artist’s reflections on the dichotomy of reality and fiction.
Renaud Auguste-Dormeuil Le tourbillon de la vie series of ambivalent and dreamlike images shares the name of a famous French song by Jeanne Moreau, featured in the film Jules et Jim.
