About this artwork

Best Wishes presents a series of historical photographs taken before the bombardment, showing these messages and their authors. These images are enhanced with a 3D effect. Usually used to allow the photographed object to "come out" of the screen and get closer to the viewer, the 3D is here reversed (blue on the left and red on the right).

This inverted relief thus artificially creates depth in the photograph while the viewer finds himself in the place of the photographer when he took the shot.
