About this artwork

"Dos Bleu" is a paper designed for printing advertising posters in public spaces (4x3 types). During the sizing process, the paper becomes opaque, thus avoiding transparency effects. The photographic project "Dos bleu" is inspired by this idea of avoiding transparency effects by superimposing events that are distant in time. Without knowing how, the artist's drone work entitled "Spin-Off" invites itself into a photograph illustrating a manifestation during the 1968 Venice Biennale (Dos bleu #1) or into a photograph by Fedele Azari from the very beginning of the 20th century (Dos bleu #2). Through this gesture of bringing images together, the artist continues to travel through time as he pleases.
