I opened the gallery and immediately, in an organic way, I saw that there was a line that was repeating itself: a lot of action, performance, working with artists who refer to the here and now, who reflect the world in which we live.
About The Ryder Projects
Opened early 2015, The RYDER took its name from the building where founder and director Pati Lara lived in London. In 2019, the gallery opened its space in Madrid, and since then have developed programs that focus on action, in a fluid way that looks beyond the walls of the gallery space. The RYDER represents artists that address issues of our time, often through technology and means of communication, giving a critical eye on the world they inhabit.
