About this artwork

Designed to connect the participatory nature of his exhibition "subhidroinfraentre" (2021) at Galeria Jaqueline Martins, the photographic poster is a recent development of the project "Would you like to participate in an artistic experience?", ongoing since 1994. The project/proposal presents participants with the possibility of interacting with and taking home a steel object produced by the artist and, with it, carrying out any artistic experience that suits them. Although the physical object is the concrete element that triggers the experiences, in reality its role is to bring to the fore certain invisible sets of effects, procedures, and conditions, making visible networks and mediation structures within the context of contemporary art. The images show curator Pablo Lafuente performing action that activated the project when presented at Secession (Vienna) in 2014.
