About LABOR
Established in 2009 by Pamela Echeverría, LABOR has made its place in the Mexican and global art scene, representing artists who favor deepened research and reflection within their work. Over the years, the gallery has enriched its roster with local and international artists especially working to expose and dismantle structures of economic and consumerist ideals, as well as tackling the subject of sustainability in all its definitions.
Labor, with a vocation to reach further than the four walls of a commercial gallery, houses its own library, and hosts many parallel events such as workshops, lectures, conferences and film screenings, in an attempt to create a circular economy beneficial to all involved.
