Summary
Womanity aims to support the most vulnerable women (widows, marginalised single women, women from lower caste, tribal women, women from indigenous communities, victims of violence) and enhance their access, control and ownership of land, with the purpose of creating a sustainable financial security and livelihood opportunity for them.
Studies show that woman having access or owning land is less likely to be subjected to violence, have increased income and financial security, enhanced food security and improved decision making ability.
