Provide Home Visits to At-Risk Students for a Year
Organization information
The Freedom Story (Formerly The SOLD Project)
Location: A. Muang Chiang Rai, Thailand
Summary
The home visits ensure that all of our scholarship students have strong relationships with our staff, leading to a mentor/mentee relationship. These relationships provide them a good example of healthy and trusting adult relationships, which can often be lacking in the students' day-to-day lives. It can also lead to a decrease in their risk of exploitation.
