Summary
In Gulu, Uganda, corona virus is spreading fast within the city and in the surrounding communities. The district has no ventilator which means patients in need of intensive care cannot be saved. The long-lasting lockdown measures made a big dent in the livelihoods of people, leading to poverty and hopelessness. CEOU is installing hand wash equipment in public places and translating government approved information into local languages to help people understand and implement prevention measures.
