Summary
Overcome is a socio-emocional support program for at least 80 hurricane Maria victims who also are exposed high risk factors including: poverty, violence, drug-related crime, poor educational services, a very slow recovery (and reconstruction) process that has caused depression, anxiety and aggressive behavior. Goal: members overcome challenges to achieving mental, and emotional health. The program's team includes social workers, counselors, and a psychologist.
