Summary
Medicine Wheels is a new Indigenous skate project that empowers youth on the reservation who face extreme social and resource isolation and high rates of substance abuse through healthy community, joyful sport. and peer-to-peer substance abuse and harm reduction counseling. We distribute skate gear to those who can't afford their own and provide healthy adrenaline, confidence building and safe community events for youth with limited positive alternatives as school is out and risk is heightened.
