Hens Hatching Hope: Un Huevo Cada Dia
Organization information
Shoulder to Shoulder, Inc.
Location: Dayton, United States of America
Summary
COVID-19 shut down our micronutrient project in Honduras. We could not get the product into Honduras. Therefore, we started a new nutrition project to battle malnutrition in children under age 5. Hens Hatching Hope has two goals: support 27 women run micro-businesses within the beneficiary communities and provide an egg per day for 350 at-risk children. In year 2, we will provide eggs for 500 at-risk children and all 27 farms are continuing.
