Help Us Transform Uganda SPCA Haven Animal Shelter
Organization information
Animal-Kind International
Location: Jemez Springs, United States of America
Summary
Uganda SPCA's Haven was meant to hold about 120 dogs & cats, but since it's the only animal shelter serving central Uganda & because animal adoption is just gaining popularity, The Haven easily gets beyond capacity. Plus, The Haven is located on rented space-at any time, they could be asked to vacate the property. AKI is raising money so Uganda Society for the Protection & Care of Animals can purchase land to create a state-of-the-art-sanctuary-education facility, the 1st of its kind in Africa.
