Summary
The Heart for India Foundation is an NGO based in Geneva that has been working in India since 2005. Heart for India supports five government schools and a vocational training center for young women.
We have implemented our 360° Model including:
- Quality education until graduation
- Nutritional program with daily snack distribution
- Sports activities, Karate and Self-Defense classes for the women
- Environmental awareness through "Kitchen Garden" activities
- A reinforcement of security and improvement of hygiene
We employ 43 local people including 17 teachers in various subjects: English, Sport, IT...
Through our 360° Model, we have supported more than 35,000 disadvantaged children, distributed 6 million snacks, obtained a 98% success rate in the final exams, and trained more than 1,500 young women to obtain stable employment.
