Summary
Cepal (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean) estimates a contraction in Latin America of 5.3% in 2020, due to Covid-19. In June 2020, Ecuador revealed that 180,852 employment contracts were finished during the health emergency. This economic contraction will generate almost 11.5 million new unemployed and almost 30 million more poor people. Formal employment has been lost, for this reason economic reactivation is imperative in the target group "Entrepreneurial Single Mothers"
