Summary
Urban Harvest's "Grow A Resilience" is a COVID-19 response to ensure Houstonians stay healthy, active & nutritiously fed. The project: 1) sustains the largest farmers market in the region- supporting 110 hard-hit local farms & small businesses, while offering a safe way for community members to access food; 2) reaches 19,500 Houstonians with organic garden education via online webinars, classes & resources; & 3) matches SNAP benefits dollar-for-dollar on fresh produce at farmers markets citywide
