Summary
We strive to contribute to the understanding of plastic pollution through research in characterization of plastic pollution with scientific collaboration and the dynamism of citizen scientists.
We also welcome all marine science aboard the Manta and work with all stakeholders on various studies in our active working groups. Finally, we share knowledge across stakeholders through conferences, talks, publications and other endeavours to popularise science.
Created in 2016 by French-Swiss navigator and explorer Yvan Bourgnon, the NGO The SeaCleaners offers concrete solutions against plastic pollution, both at sea and on land, through corrective and preventive activities.
