Summary
Urban Harvest will support, create and activate gardens, markets and farm stands in communities still recovering from Hurricane Harvey to ensure these communities have access to fresh, healthy foods and have lasting sites to congregate and gather. In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, 'food' ranked as the second highest need for survivors after 'disaster services"; while, many communities existing on the margins continue to struggle with ongoing displacement of individuals.
