Summary
Haiti is a dangerous place to be pregnant; health outcomes for pregnant women and newborns in Haiti are the lowest in the Western Hemisphere. Only 67% of pregnant women receive the recommended prenatal visits which are crucial to monitor fetal growth, manage hypertensive conditions, screen for complications, and prepare women for safe deliveries. C2C seeks to expand our Maternal Health Program to one more clinic this year so more pregnant women in northern Haiti can get the care they deserve.
