Equal Rights Beyond Borders is a Greek-German human rights organisation that focuses on enforcing the rights of refugees and asylum seekers in Greece, Germany, and throughout the EU.
Witnessing violations of our clients’ human rights on a daily basis, our international team of lawyers and interpreters defends and protects the dignity and equality of every person.
We stand with refugees, fighting against undignified living conditions in the camps at the EU’s external borders, against unlawful detention, and against illegal deportations. We advocate for family reunification from all over the world to Germany and other EU countries.
At Equal Rights Beyond Borders, we provide qualified free legal services to refugees and asylum seekers in Greece and Germany. We focus on casework and litigation before Greek, German, and European courts. Additionally, we try to raise awareness concerning the systemic breach of fundamental rights on the European external borders through publications, advocacy and scientific articles and workshops
