EMPOWERING THE POOR WITH SKILLS TRAINING
Organization information
Hand to Hand Foundation
Location: Pattaya, Thailand
Summary
This project aims to provide the essential household furnishings, to make it possible for underprivileged families presently living in a slum in Pattaya to move into eight single room units which the Hand to Hand Foundation has built. These families are often uneducated and therefore have limited employment opportunities to be able to provide these necessities for themselves. The housing remains the property of the foundation and homeless families can stay until they are financially stable.
