Emergency COVID-19 support for Kenyan children
Organization information
Raising Futures Kenya
Location: Sheffield, United Kingdom
Summary
Unemployment in Kenya has doubled since the start of COVID-19, more people are experiencing poverty than ever before, especially the young. We've seen firsthand the devastating impact on children, young people & families. Many families live hand-to-mouth and rely on casual labour jobs which have now been lost. With all disasters, the vulnerable are always most at risk. We need to provide food, essential items, training and support to ensure the low-income communities we work alongside are safe.
