Summary
BHI's work to eliminate cervical cancer includes training health promoters, nurses and physicians in cervical cancer prevention. El Salvador needs more trained health care workers in rural areas to achieve a fully sustainable cervical cancer prevention program. BHI brings cervical cancer training to communities for HPV education and screening, visual triage, cryotherapy, and the use of mobile colposcopes.
