Summary
The project will provide water, sanitation and hygiene support for local communities badly affected by the El Nino in the Philippines. We will provide dry, waterless toilets, water containers and hygiene kits focusing on mountainous and hard to reach areas. The choice of dry, waterless toilets is because the traditional pour-flush toilets is no longer effective due to lack of water and open defecation is a major problem due to spread of diseases.
