An estimated 61 million people around the world live and die with serious health related suffering each year. Access to palliative care can relieve most of that suffering. The IAHPC provides educational resources to palliative care professionals, workers and informal caregivers, through workshops, curricula development, access to peer-reviewed journals, and much more. These opportunities result in better patient care and reduce the suffering of millions of patients and their families.
