Summary
Honduras is the poorest country in Latin America with the majority of those struggling in rural communities. Phoenix set up their secondary school and college in 2008, opening their doors to nine surrounding rural communities paying for teachers, utensils and books. Due to COVID-19 we aim to provide hand sanitizer and supplies of soap over the long-term for all our students for when they enter and leave the schools each day to reassure parents that it is a safe environment.
