Summary
Education is a human right and a form of empowerment. The more education someone has, typically a higher income and better health outcomes follow. Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in Uganda often do not complete their education because they cannot afford the school fees or they have to drop out to begin working. Many even become caregivers themselves to other OVC. OCE intends to change that, helping to send vulnerable children to primary and secondary schools in Lyantonde District, Uganda.
