Summary
Girls give up their education due to limited resources, household chores, having to babysit siblings, or an early marriage. For every 100 girls in rural India, only a single one reaches class 12. A key focus for Children's Hope India is creating an equal playing field, so that girls have the same opportunities to go to school as boys, through its Educate a Child program in Bhopal, India. For only 50 cents a day (or $200 a year) a donor can help educate a girl child, empower her for the future.
