Organization information
Mathare Foundation Youth Group
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Summary
Do it for Mathare Foundation is a fundraising campaign that targets 1,000 individuals and organizations to support our activities. Currently, we are reaching out to about 10,000 young people. Young people in Mathare slums live in poverty and are affected by crime, drug abuse, early marriages and pregnancies, radicalization and rape. We are offering hands on solutions by not only training them in arts, media and sports but also offering life skills so that they can be responsible citizens.
