Covid-19: food support for Kibera

Summary
The lockdown means many breadwinners for families in Kibera are not working - from those relying on informal labour markets to staff in the community-based schools in our network. Many live hand to mouth, unable to develop financial safety nets, and are therefore unable to pay for food and basic needs for their children. Shopkeepers give credit to regular customers but they struggle to restock without cash, affecting their ability to eat. We are fundraising for food packages for families.
