Clean Water for Rural Villagers in Burkina Faso
Organization information
BARKA Foundation
Location: Burlington, United States of America
Summary
BARKA Foundation is helping the poorest of the poor to secure their human birthright of clean drinking water and improved sanitation in one of the driest, harshest climates in the world- the eastern region of Burkina Faso. With the help of individual donors like you, we have dramatically changed the lives of more than 25,000 rural villagers deep in the African bush where people walk up to 7km to fetch water. "Barka" is a West African word of gratitude, blessing and reciprocity. Join us! Barka!!
