Summary
In 2021, 225,165 people will die from water-related diseases, and 792 million will lack access to clean drinking water. Additionally, the effects of COVID-19 are likely to be much greater in urban slums, where water is inaccessible. WAFA's goal is to help communities around the world to present their low-tech, high-impact, locally adapted clean water and sanitation solutions for their communities and for future generations.
