Organization information
EQUUS Foundation
Location: Westport, United States of America
Summary
A horse with a home and a purpose is a happy horse! However, America's horses are also confronted with a disturbing reality. Tens of thousands are abused and neglected and in need of rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing each year. Over 65,000 horses were transported across our borders for slaughter in 2019. The EQUUS Foundation is the only national animal welfare charity in the United States 100% dedicated to protecting America's horses and strengthening the bond between horses and people.
