Bring Youth Baseball Back to Abaco
Organization information
Abaco Strong
Location: Bethesda, United States of America
Summary
Hurricane Dorian, the most destructive hurricane in the history of The Bahamas, wreaked unimaginable devastation on Great Abaco Island in 2019. COVID 19 brought even more challenges to a community that is struggling to rebuild. We are providing gloves, bats, and helmets for the boys and girls of Abaco, and raising money to restore the baseball/softball field at Central Abaco High School. Practices and conditioning have already begun with over 100 children attending.
