Back to School - 300 Children in India
Organization information
Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society
Location: Trivandrum, India
Summary
Every year We conduct summer camp for slum children and poor children of the community and at the end of the Summer camp we provide school materials to all the participants as they are from very poor backgrounds and have no means of availing the initial expenses at the beginning of school year in June which is rather high. We also provide the same to identified needy children from the district through our helpline (childline). By your help we will be able to sustain more children in school. Important Notice about Projects in India: We expect that there will be significant delays in getting funds to this project due to new regulatory requirements that impact GlobalGiving's ability to disburse to Indian-banked organizations. GlobalGiving is working hard to address the issue, but there is a chance that we will be unable to disburse funds to this project. If we cannot disburse funds, donations to this project may be reallocated to another organization per our terms and conditions.
