Surgery is an essential part of healthcare. Yet 5 billion people lack access to basic surgical care around the world. AMPATH Surgery aims to improve access to surgery in Western Kenya by leading with patient care. Rooted in care, we work to strengthen surgical education and research in the region, focused on making a visible and sustained impact for the surgical needs of more than 4 million people who live in Western Kenya.
