As art changes, the presentation of art has to change with it. I want to follow what artists are doing. If an artist changes their practice, breaks rules, comes up with new ways to show art, then I must adapt with that.

About Galerie Allen

Galerie Allen is a unique model capitalising on the varied experiences of former curator, Joseph Allen Shea, and practicing artist, Mel O’Callaghan. Together they create a platform where commercial is the structure of an entire ecology to support the ethical presentation, promotion and production of contemporary art.

Galerie Allen supports artists that cross generations and the geography united only by a certain independence and intellectual rigour that does not mandate any technical or aesthetic requirement.
